Project: Snowdrift.coop

Snowdrift.coop is the project behind crowdmatch.org.

Our progress has been slow so far because we have depended almost entirely on unpaid volunteers who do their best to fit in any Snowdrift.coop work while working full time elsewhere to earn their livelihood.

It will be game-changing to fund a small full-time team. We've set a goal of growing the Snowdrift.coop crowd to 6,000 patrons each giving $6/month, for $36,000/month total funding.

As we approach that goal, getting even one part-time position funded would make a real difference. It also helps to have funds to cover regular expenses, fund volunteers to attend related conferences and trainings, hire consultants and legal services, and so on.

Financial transparency report

Until we design a standard report, we publish an accounting summary on our wiki so that patrons can understand how we have used funds in the past and where any outside income comes from.
